Adalbertus Kamanzi was among the founders of Edirisa/Gorilla Highlands Experts in 2001. A Tanzanian with an Italian accent (a result of studying in Rome), he has close to 30 years of experience in academia and public engagement. His work centres on Ubuntu philosophy and decolonial thought, examining how African perspectives can reshape development, leadership, and human agency. Kamanzi is currently advancing the vision of the Ubuntu University of Tanzania and lecturing in Oshakati, Namibia. [bio updated: 2026-03]
