Jonan Asingwire Kato is developing the Gorilla Highlands Experts strategy document while helping get GHE Uganda off the ground. Inspired by the 2023 Friendship Camp, he became aware of the huge possibilities for young leaders in the region — a conviction he brings to his work as a youth capacity builder and climate action enthusiast. Jonan has also worked with AIESEC and Island of Hope from his base in Kampala, Uganda. [bio updated: 2026-03]
