Ornella Ndahiro Uwase became part of the Gorilla Highlands Experts community in 2025 as a participant of the Friendship Camp. She now serves on the committee that coordinates the organisation. Ornella is the founder and CEO of Code Empowerment Progress, a youth-led initiative that uplifts young people through technology, and a contributor to Youth Journal of STEM Research.
