Paul Ishimwe was the first Rwandan to volunteer for Gorilla Highlands Experts. He started his journey as a floor manager for the 2018 Gorilla Highlands Silverchef cooking competition at the Kigali Marriott Hotel, then worked at Edirisa on Lake Bunyonyi and helped as a tour guide until 2020.
