Philippe Vandorpe brought his family to Uganda in 2013, for one of the very first grand treks organised by Gorilla Highlands Experts. More than a decade later, they still cherish the memories of the 6-day walking trip. On their bookshelf you might find titles like “Top 50 Treks of the World” — but now they think they are not worth the title, as they ignore the Gorilla Highlands region.
