Simon Dreven first set foot in the Gorilla Highlands region in 2018 and immediately fell in love with it. A year later, seeking a different pace of life, he left Europe and moved to Uganda, where he lived for nearly two years. During his time there, he helped coordinate and supervise Edirisa on Lake Bunyonyi and collaborated with and advised MBZ Group Africa. Most importantly, he built countless lasting friendships that continue to draw him back to the region almost every year. Simon is now toiling for a European parliamentarian in Brussels, Belgium.
