Jens De Pauw was the SEE AFRICA BREATHE AFRICA editor in 2023, sent to do a 6-month Gorilla Highlands internship by UCLL in Belgium. He lost his heart to the region and keeps coming back, or at least tries to convince others to visit. Rwothomio Gabriel Kabandole is fully invested in the betterment of humanity and the erasure of oppressive systems that hinder that goal. His Ubuntu philosophy and people skills have led to employment in several organisations, including No White Saviors and Eight.World. Originally from eastern DR Congo, Rwothomio has been on a two-year campaign to raise awareness and funds for families and individuals in the Ituri province.
