Valentine’s Comes Early: Love in the Wild

📁

“You are special to me,” we like to say to our loved ones. What about proving that sweetly by surprising them with a truly special experience?

Think about bonding on a remote island… On Lake Bunyonyi, quite possibly the most beautiful lake in the world… At Tom’s Homestay, a place nominated for Uganda’s Tourism Excellence Awards 2017…

You will camp in a fully equipped and romantically decorated spacious tent that normally takes up to four people but will be booked just for the two of you. There will be a fantastic open-air dinner on an island top overlooking Bunyonyi, romantic live music, and dugout canoe trips for couples with your own paddler, enanga player and many candles.

There will also be chickens, goats and cows. This is The Village. And that makes it even more special, doesn’t it?

All you have to do is to WhatsApp/call +256 776 558 123 as soon as possible and be in Kabale Town on Saturday 11 February at 4pm. Your budget will merely be the franc/shilling equivalent of 45 dollars per person. That includes transport from Kabale to Habukomi Island, tented accommodation, two delicious meals and all the entertainment.

“Wait wait, 11 Feb is not Valentine’s Day,” you might say. True. It wouldn’t possibly work in the middle of a working week. You need a proper retreat. And imagine: on 14 February you will be enjoying photos and videos together, from the most special weekend ever!

In case you wish to make it even more special, you can extend your stay at Bunyonyi. You can arrive before Saturday or stay after Sunday brunch, the official end of the experience, at discounted rates.

We provide life jackets and can help you organise bus transport, in collaboration with Jaguar Coaches.
