Mondays Used to Suck

📁

Can we be real for a sec? Mondays used to suck! Like, the actual worst! The weekend would vanish in a puff of regret and suddenly you were catapulted back into that other life — the one with alarm clocks and responsibilities. But guess what? Those bleak Mondays? Over.

We’re flipping the script, my dears. Your new weekly fix of cool stories and stunning views is coming straight from the misty shores of Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda. That’s right — Bufuka village is beaming out good vibes and warm bursts of lakeside wonders, from everyday life sweetness to tales that’ll make you want to pack your bag immediately. Monday blues? Never met her!

Now for the juicy bit — we’ve snatched back our Facebook and Insta accounts after a year-long nap (oops!), and we’re also there for you, sassier than ever. Behind the scenes? We’ve been busy glowing up. Edirisa on Lake Bunyonyi is back, baby — and she’s had a little makeover.

Still all about families and small groups, we’ve added a spacious Family Apartment to go with our beloved Family House. Lovebirds? There’s one dreamy double cottage waiting just for you. Travelling broke but fabulous? The 4-bed grass-thatched dorm and a pretty campsite are calling your name. We might be tiny (and, well, our rooms remain non-self-contained) but we’ve got charm in bucketloads. You’ll see.

From cozy upgrades and an enhanced menu to big and small touches all around the place, we’ve been hustling hard to make your lakeside stay pure magic. And the cherry on top? It’s all ready just in time for Easter.

So go on — come find us at Lake Bunyonyi! We’ll be waiting with open arms (and probably something tasty in our renovated kitchen).
