Preet Fast Food has moved! Kigali’s first purely vegetarian restaurant has found a nicer spot on KN 82, the same road it’s called home for over a decade.

Good news for us too, as we don’t need to adjust the route of the Kigali Walking Tour. Preet has always been part of it, possibly controversially. Why take guests to an Indian restaurant instead of a Rwandan one?
Because our concept is to show all levels of Kigali, and Asian populations play an important economic role in East African cities. In Rwanda’s case, Preet’s owner Vipul Vyas says that over 5,300 Indians reside here, mostly in Kigali.
Just don’t expect to find only Asians at Preet. Many Rwandans have become converts to its cuisine, and you may be too, served by the smiling Vipul and his wife Preeti (yes, that’s the origin of the name!).
