Spotlight on Batwa Potters (and Ramadhan’s Clay Zoo)

📁

Say hi to Ramadhan Ntaganira from Coopérative Moderne de Poterie in Ngaruyinka, a village on the outskirts of Kigali. He is the most artistic of our Batwa friends who make a living there. Yesterday he showed off a hippo and a gorilla of his own making, perched on a giant chicken he had created too.

We first met this community in 2018 near Kigali’s golf course. Since then we have invited their representatives to a number of GHE activities; now the whole group will take centre stage in a brand-new day experience. We are shaping it together with them and will share more as soon as possible!
