The Congo Nile Trail is a spectacular adventure on the Rwandan shores of Lake Kivu, for both hikers and bikers.
From the northern to the southern end of Rwanda’s Kivu coast, a hiker will take 10 days and a biker 4-5. On the way you will find well-spaced overnight solutions (some are rather basic) with decent restaurants. During the day snacking at roadside little shops can be an option.
